    Martin Alan Stockwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Lake Erie College in 1993.

    Stockwell played basketball for two seasons and was also a member of the golf team for one year. He was named Lake Erie College Male Athlete of the Year in 1991-92, and was also named to the NAIA All-District Men's basketball team in both the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons.

    In 1991-92, Stockwell finished the year in the top 10 in every offensive statistical category in the district, and he scored 1,126 points in just two seasons for the Storm. In addition, Stockwell became the first player in school history to surpass the 1,000 point plateau.

    He currently ranks second all-time with 419 field goals made in his career, and third all-time in scoring with 1,126 points during his two-year career. In addition, Stockwell is also third all-time with 168 three-pointers made, and he is fifth in school history with 198 assists.

    Stockwell was also a student assistant basketball coach during the 1992-93 season, and he was a resident assistant for one season. He is now a mathematics teacher at Jamestown High School.

    The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee recognizes all these accomplishments by Martin Alan Stockwell with induction into the Lake Erie College Athletic Hall of Fame on May 18, 2002.
