Since its founding in 1856, physical activity and outstanding athletic achievement have been cornerstones of the growth and success of Lake Erie College. From "Field Day" track competitions against Vassar and Bryn Mawr in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to the crowning of NCAA Division II national champions today, Lake Erie's proud athletic tradition spans generations and genders.
The Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals or teams who have made outstanding contributions to the College and more recently, Storm athletics. Since its establishment in 1987, many exceptional individuals or teams have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and each has helped bring excellence and distinction to the College and its physical fitness and athletic programs.
