Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame
Joe Postwaite is one of the most decorated athletes in Lake Erie College history. In 2015, he became just the second individual national champion in school history when he captured the NCAA DII Indoor Triple Jump Championship with a jump of 50'11".
By the end of his career, he was a National Champion, National Runner-Up, 8x All-American, 8x National Qualifier, 4x All-Region, 5x All-Conference Champion (GLIAC), and 5x All-Conference Second Team (GLIAC). Following the 2012-13 indoor season, he was also named Co-Regional Field Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA. At the time of induction, he holds the program records for the Indoor Triple Jump (51' 6 ¼) and Outdoor Triple Jump (51' ¼).
The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee recognizes all these accomplishments by Joe Postwaite with induction into the Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame on September 28, 2024.
