Gabor was a four-year starter who left an indelible mark on Lake Erie women's basketball, dominating both the GLIAC and G-MAC throughout her career. As a freshman, she started all 28 games, averaging 12.5 points per game and totaling 351 points.
By the start of her senior season, she had already scored 1,262 points, and just 198 more made her the program's all-time leading scorer. She finished her career with 1,823 points, setting the school's all-time scoring record across both the men's and women's programs.
Over her career, Gabor averaged 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, compiling 568 rebounds, 266 assists, and 188 steals in total.
Her excellence on the court earned her First Team All-GLIAC honors in 2016–17 and Second Team All-G-MAC recognition in 2017–18.
The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee recognizes all these accomplishments by Kayla Gabor with induction into the Lake Erie College Athletics Hall of Fame on September 13, 2025.
