PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Ninth-ranked Dowling College built a sizeable first-half lead and went on to a convincing win over the Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team on Saturday (April 16).  The Golden Lions scored the game's first 17 goals and defeated the Storm 24-1 in Brookhaven, N.Y.

Sophomore Brittany Rabuano (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) scored the only goal for the Storm (2-8, 0-3 ECC), which remained winless in East Coast Conference play.

Five players scored multiple goals for Dowling (9-2, 4-0 ECC), led by Jeril Goodfellow's four.

The Storm is on the road again on Monday, April 18, with a nonconference contest at Mercyhurst College.
