2010: Played in all 11 games as a redshirt junior, making four starts at wide receiver...  named to 2010 GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team... tied for sixth on the team with 12 catches, totalling 121 yards... caught a 10-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter of the season opener at Gannon on 9/2... had a season-long grab of 18 yards at Hillsdale on 9/25... had five games with two catches.

2009: Appeared in 10 games as a sophomore receiver… caught eight passes for 98 yards on the season… had a season-high two grabs in consecutive games Sept. 19 and Sept. 26, compiling a season-high 34 yards in the latter.

2008: Played in all 11 games as a redshirt-freshman… made first career catch in the season opener on Aug. 28 against Gannon… matched a career-high with three catches at Charleston (W. Va.) on Oct. 25 with a season-high 38 yards… finished the year with 14 catches, 165 yards and a touchdown, which came against St. Joseph’s on Sept. 20.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played prep ball at Lakeside High School as a wide receiver and free safety… garnered All-Ashtabula County Second-Team honors… also played center on the Dragons basketball team and played two years of baseball at LHS.

PERSONAL: Last name pronounced "Kriz"... Born on Sept. 10, 1989… majoring in accounting… parents are James and Terri Ekensten.
