(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) - Lake Erie wrestling ends its regular season as host to visiting Garrett College on Saturday in the Osborne Center. The match is set for action at 7:00 pm. 

Last weekend the Storm traveled to Erie, PA, and met with two top ten teams in No. 4 Gannon and No. 7 Mercyhurst. 

Corey Gamet (125 lb) split his matches and dropped his first match in a 4-1 against Charles Lenox (Gannon). Gamet followed up with a 3-0 decision over Jacob Ruggeri (Mercyhurst). 

Nick Burgard won both of his matches in the 157 weight class with a pin against Spencer Head (Mercyhurst) and a major decision over Nicholas Coreno (Gannon).

Lake Erie had three grapplers named in The Open Mat rankings this week. Gamet ranked 11th in the 125-pound weight class, Zane Johnson ranked 15th in the 133-pound weight class, and Burgard is ranked 12th in the 157-pound weight class. 

NCAA Super Regionals is set for Saturday, February 27.
