INDIANAPOLIS -- Lake Erie wrestler
Josh Howey has been named the Great Midwest Wrestler of the Week for the week of December 8th. This is the first time this season that a Lake Erie wrestling student-athlete has received this honor and the first of Howey's career.
Howey was an anchor for the Storm this week, leading the team to a 2-2 record and going 4-0 in the process with wins by pin (1:21), technical fall (15-0), major decision (15-5), and a gritty sudden victory.
With a strong start to the season under their belt, the Storm will be back in action on Wednesday, December 17th at 6 p.m. against their third-ranked opponent of the season when they host #15 West Liberty.
