TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Lake Erie wrestling team hit the road to battle the #3 Tiffin University Dragons. The Storm would give the Dragons everything they have, but would fall 25-16 and move to 1-1 in the G-MAC.

The Storm found themselves down early, dropping close matches at 125 and 133. Behind with a 6-0 deficit, Joey Romano would tie the dual with a pin in 2:35.

Lake Erie would move ahead 13-6 during the 149 and 157 duals. At 149, Colin Roberts would take a 10-4 decision and at 157 Josh Howey would take a 15-5 major decision. 

The Dragons would then retake the lead 16-13 after the 165 and 174 duals.

Vincent Scaramuzzino would tie the dual at 16-16 with a tight 5-4 decision. 

Tiffin would then take the 197 and 285 duals to secure the victory 25-16.

Looking Ahead

Lake Erie will have a quick turnaround as they return home on Saturday, December 6th for a tri-match against Kentucky Wesleyan and #21 Ashland.
