The G-MAC tournament will feature five member schools in the 2021 tournament. Schools competing include the host Kentucky Wesleyan, Tiffin, Ashland, Findlay, and Lake Erie.
This year's G-MAC tournament will allow each team to travel with two wrestlers per weight class and a change from previous conference tournaments is that this year the tournament is formatted to be an individual tournament compared to a team tournament. The top advancing wrestler will count towards the team point-scoring totals.
Last week's wrestle-offs helped decide who was going to compete in Owensboro. Traveling and competing for the Storm this weekend will be -
Corey Gamet (Jackson, Mich) 141, Jordan Rodriguez (Chesaning, Mich) 125, Zane Johnson (Plain City, Ohio) 133, Jacob Donahue (Uniontown, Ohio) 133, Nate DeBoe (Mentor, Ohio) 149, Ryan Wehner (Bad Axe, Mich.) 141, Brandon Tenney (Buckhannon, W.V.) 149, Alex Lieb (Pataskala, Ohio) 149, Nick Burgard (Ashtabula, Ohio) 149, Jacob Potok (Tallmadge, Ohio), Thomas Potter (Springport, Mich) 157, John Penfold (Metamore, Mich) 184, Brylan Clouse (Barnesville, Ohio) 174, Jaron Patterson (Mechanicsburg, Ohio) 184/197, Christopher Droege (Austintown, Ohio) 197, Ben Doehr (Elyria, Ohio) 197/285, Dylan Norris (Eaton Rapids, Mich) 285.
The G-MAC digital network will be home for the streaming coverage of Mat 1 and Mat 2. Mat 1 will also exclusively feature interviews with coaches and student-athletes throughout the day.
Brackets on TrackWrestling will be unveiled to the public on Friday night and will be updated in real-time on Saturday. Wrestling will start at 10 am EST and will continue through the afternoon on two mats.
