Meri Cizmar will represent the Lake Erie College swimming team at the 2015 NCAA Division-II Championships.
CIZMAR: Cizmar is the first female swimmer in program history to qualify for the Championships. She will be competing in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke.
GLIACs: At the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships this year, Cizmar become the first female swimmer in program history to capture gold, winning the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:00.62- a program record. She also set a program record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.92 to take third at GLIACs.
SCHEDULE: Cizmar will compete in the 100 backstroke Friday and the 200 backstroke Saturday.
ALL-AMERICAN HONORS: The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American honors. The 9th-16th place finishers earn All-American Honorable Mention.
