Box Score 2 CANTON, Ohio - The Storm traveled down to Canton, Ohio this weekend to take on the Walsh Cavalier for their final series of the season. Game 1 - May 7
With the Cavaliers fighting for the last spot in the G-MAC tournament, the Storm started out the first game of the doubleheader showing them that they would not go down easy. Starting pitcher Anthony Berrios Jr. kept Lake Erie in the game over six complete innings, surrendering six hits and four runs while striking out seven in his final collegiate game.
The Storm would stay scoreless until the top of the seventh however and with a deficit of 4-0, Mason Eicher would drive in Mark Ross with an RBI double. Two batters later, Eicher would come across to score due to an error by the Cavalier's second baseman.
Unfortunately, that is all the Storm would be able to muster as they dropped game 1, 4-2.

Game 3 - May 8
It was Mother's Day in Canton and with the Cavaliers taking both games the day before, the Storm looked to bounce back and even the series.
Things would not go their way early however as they quickly went down 3-0 to start the contest.
In the top of the third, Cody Balliet would bring home Israel Espinosa to put the Stormon the board and trim the deficit to 3-1.
With a 3-1 lead, Walsh would stack on six runs in the bottom half of the inning, extending their lead to 9-1.

Game 4 - May 8

Helt would go 5.1 innings and give up six runs (three earned).
Each team would score a run in the first with Lake Erie's coming on a lead-off home run by Israel Espinosa.
In the bottom of the fourth, Walsh would scratch together two more runs giving them the lead, 3-1 but the Storm would tie it back up in the top of the sixth with a Rece Sabo sac fly and a double steal attempt by Graham Solak and Zach Saffell which would score Saffell.
With a 6-3 deficit going into the top of the ninth, the Storm would make it interesting for the Cavaliers. Sabo would start out the inning with a lead-off single. Walsh would change their pitcher and Solak would reach on a fielder's choice. Two batters later, with two outs, Mason Eicher would double, sending Solak to third with Espinosa coming to bat.
