Box Score 2 (Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie Storm fell in two games to the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans. Game one ended with a final score of 4-0 followed by game two with a final score of 8-3.
Carly Rowland took the circle in game one for the Storm. Rowland recorded three strikeouts giving up 11 hits to the Trojans over seven innings.
The Storm was off to a slow start as they did not record a hit until the fourth inning. Chloe Allen started the fourth inning with a single through the left side. Jaime Carpenter followed with a bunt to first base, which advanced Allen to second. Three quick outs followed leaving two runners on base for the Storm.
The Trojans had a strong fifth inning as they scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning, taking advantage of a Storm error for one of the runs. The final score of game one was Lake Erie 0, Trevecca 4.
Bridget Mullholand took the circle for the Storm in game two. The Trojans scored first with two runs in the first inning. The Storm started the second inning with a single by Jesse Carpenter to center field. Leah Buck followed with a walk advancing Carpenter to second. Jordyn Hawkins put down a sac bunt to move Carpenter to third and Buck to second. Parker Viele followed with an RBI single to right field scoring Carpenter, advancing Buck to third. A few quick outs ended the inning with a score of 2-1.
The Trojans fought back in the third scoring another three runs making the score 5-1. The Storm had another strong inning in the fourth scoring two runs. Buck started with a single up the middle. Jordyn Hawkins reached first shortly after on an error by the Trojans shortstop, advancing Buck to second. Cameron Malkamaki reached first on an error by the third baseman, advancing Hawkins to second and Buck to third. Dani Soria followed with a single to third, recording an RBI single. Malkamaki advanced to second, Hawkins to third and Buck scored on the play. Allen followed with an RBI to second base, advancing Soria to second, Malkamaki to third, and Hawkins scored on the play making the score 5-3.
The Trojans added another two innings in the fifth making the score 7-3 but were scoreless in the sixth. Trevecca scored another run in the seventh with a score of 8-3. The Storm was scoreless through the fifth, sixth and seventh ending the game 8-3.

The Storm will finish their season tomorrow, Saturday, May 1st as they take on Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers. Game one is set to begin at 1 p.m. followed by game two at 3 p.m. Senior day is set to take place prior to the game.
