Box Score 2 (Pepper Pike, Ohio) – The Storm dropped both games in the doubleheader versus Ursuline College today. Game one had a final score of 3-0 in favor of the Arrows followed by game two 2-1 taken by the Arrows as well.
Grace Hammer took the circle for the Storm in game one. Hammer recorded seven strikeouts over six innings.
The Storm was hitless the first six innings. Kiya Smith started the seventh inning with a shot to left field to give the Storm their first hit of the game. The inning came to an end shortly after as the Arrows took game one over the Storm 3-0.
Carly Rowland was in the circle for the Storm to start game two. Rowland recorded a solid nine strikeouts over the six innings.
As a whole, the Storm gained momentum recording eight hits in game two, although they could not compute hits into runs. Bridget Mullholand and Parker Viele both went 2-3 at the plate in game two. Jesse Carpenter, Dani Soria, Kiya Smith, and Chloe Allen all added a hit each in the loss. Parker Viele recorded the solo run for the Storm in the seventh inning on a sac fly by Jordyn Hawkins.

The Storm will be back in action Wednesday, April 28th at Walsh University. Game one is set to begin at 3 p.m. followed by game two at 5 p.m.
