Box Score (Evansville, IN) – The Lake Erie softball team fell to Grand Valley State this afternoon to close out the 2021 Midwest Region Crossover. Grand Valley dropped the Storm in a 7-0 loss.
Carly Rowland pitched most of the game for the Storm recording three strikeouts, giving up 10 hits. Grace Hammer came in to finish the game, recording two strikeouts.
The Storm had a tough day at the plate today as Jaime Carpenter recorded the only hit for the Storm. After Grand Valley scored five runs in the first inning, the Storm was unable to come back.

The Storm will head to Clarion University this Friday, March 12th to compete in a doubleheader against the Golden Eagles. The first pitch is set to start at 2:30 p.m. followed by the second game around 4:30 p.m.
