(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) – After having their 2020 season shortened to only 10 games due to COVID-19, the Lake Erie College baseball team takes to the field for the first time in almost a year on Friday, when the Storm embark on the first of a three-game weekend series at Southern Indiana. Returning for the Storm are many of their mainstays from last season, including seniors Nate Birtley, Sam Browning, Reed Collins, and Trace Peterson, each of whom played in all 10 games last season before the rest of the games on the schedule were cancelled.
