Box Score 2 (Clermont, Fla.) - Chloe Allen continued to have the hot bat for the Storm getting her third hit in two days but Lake Erie dropped a tough pair of games on day three of The Spring Games against St. Cloud St. and Augustana (Ill.), 4-0 and 6-0, in Clermont, Fla.
In the first game, Allen singled in the first and fourth innings for the Storm, but Lake Erie couldn't get the bats going in the loss. Payton Brownlee the team leader with seven hits was the only other Storm player to get a hit against the Huskies.
Against Augustana, the Storm struggled to produce any offense only getting one hit from Brownlee after bringing 21 batters to the plate. Going into the final inning of the game Lake Erie attempted to rally but their effort came up short and fell 6-0 to the Vikings.
The Storm will be back in action Thursday with a matchup against Wayne State (Mich.) at 2:45 p.m. followed by Bemidji St. at 4:45 p.m.
