TIFFIN, Ohio- The Lake Erie College softball team split with Tiffin University today with final scores consisting of a 3-4 loss, and a 5-0 win.

Hayley Dix (1-7) pitched the first game for the Storm and freshman Parker Viele started game two. Viele pitched a complete game shutout allowing seven hits and earning three strikeouts.

Leah Buck and Payton Brownlee both doubled in the first game, and catcher Kristin Peacock went 2-4 at the plate. 

Cheyanne Hamel had two RBIs in the second game, including a double. Storm hitters that also contributed in game two were Morgan Smith and Chloe Allen.

The Storm heads to Ohio Valley University next for a G-MAC doubleheader. Games are scheduled to begin at 1 pm, weather permitting.
