EUCLID, Ohio—The ninth-ranked Lake Erie College wrestling team fell to top-ranked Notre Dame College 32-8 Sunday (Jan. 24) on the road.

After the Storm forfeited 125-pounds, the Falcons won the next two weight classes to jump out to a 15-0 lead. 

Nick Boggs (Concord, Ohio/Riverside) got the Storm on the board with a 4-3 decision over James Jenkins at 149-pounds.

However, the Falcons won the ensuing five bouts to secure the win.

In the final match of the day, Noah Hosking (Milford, Mich./Milford) pinned Almonte Patrick in the closing seconds of the second period to win the heavyweight bout.

The Storm is back in action Tuesday Jan. 26) at Gannon University.
