Box Score Lake Erie College (2-12-1, 0-11 GLIAC) lost to non-conference
foe for the first time this season as it lost to Seton Hill, 2-1
(6-9), in Greensburg, Pa.
The Griffins took a 2-0 first half lead on a pair of goals by
Madison Gourley in the 15th and 24th
minutes. Seton Hill kept that 2-0 lead at the half and until
the 82nd minute when freshman forward Misty Porter
(Reno, Nev./North Valleys) scored here team-high third goal of the
season. Porter's goal was assisted by sophomore
midfielder Valerie Urbanik (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North
Ridgeville).
Seton Hill outshot Lake Erie, 9-5, and held a 5-4 advantage in
corner kicks.
Freshman Megan
Baldacci (Cavecreek, Ariz./Cactus Shadows) made three saves in
the loss.
The Storm is home for their final three matches of the season,
starting with a GLIAC tilt against Ohio Dominican this Sunday at
1:00 p.m.
