Biography

2013: Appeared in six games...totaled threetackles...had one reception for eight yards against Tiffin (Nov.16)

2012: Played in 10 games as a redshirtsophomore, serving as a mainstay on special teams and as a reservelinebacker... made three total tackles on the season, including twosolo tackles at Ashland Sept. 29.

2011: Moved to the defensive side of the ballin training camp and appeared in all 11 games as a reservelinebacker and on special teams... finished the season with fourtotal tackles, including three solo stops... also returned akickoff seven yards at Tiffin on 11/5/11.

2010: Redshirted his freshman season as aquarterback.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years offootball at Boardman High School… was named first-teamAll-Federal League and second-team All-Ohio as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 12, 1992… plans tomajor in physical therapy… son of Rob and Cheryl Boyd.
