2011: Earned a redshirt season his first year on campus... earned Scout Team Co-Offensive Player of the Year award.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years of football at Orange High School playing quarterback in addition to defensive back, linebacker, kicker and punter... was named team MVP, team Special Teams Player of the Year and a second-team all-Chagrin Valley Conference at kicker and punter... also played three years of high school baseball.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 3, 1992... son of Bob and Linda Bitzer... majoring in business.
