2012: Emerged as a leader on defense andstarted all 11 games at middle linebacker as a third-yearsophomore... set a school, single-season record with 99 totaltackles, including 35 solo stops... included in his tackle totalwere three sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss... also forced afumble... had five games with 10-or-more tackles, including aseason and career-high 14 at Notre Dame Oct. 6... had 13 tacklesagainst Ferris State Sept. 8, 11 against both Findlay (Oct. 20) andWalsh (Oct. 27) and 10 in the season finale at Tiffin Nov. 10...also had a sack in the game against Walsh... posted seven or moretackles in four other games... led team in tackles four times.
2011: Played in nine games, making five startsat linebacker as a redshirt freshman... finished the season with 39total tackles, including 16 solo, and had 2.5 tackles for losses...made a then career-high nine tackles twice, vs. Grand Valley Stateon 10/15/11 and in the season-ending win over Ashland on11/12/11... also had three games with at least four tackles.
2010: Earned a varsity redshirt as a truefreshman, but was a member of the travel squad for every roadcontest.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a four-year performerat Roosevelt High School… served as a team captain andreceived both first-team all-district and honorable mentionAll-Ohio recognition… helped team to Portage TrailConference title in 2008.
