INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- Lake Erie baseball pitcher Dominic Poltrone has been named the Great Midwest North Division Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 16th. This is the first time this season that a Lake Erie baseball student-athlete has received this honor, and the fourth of Poltrone's career.

Poltrone delivered a fantastic performance in game two against Ohio Dominican. He threw seven innings, allowing just one run on two hits, striking out eight and walking two.

Lake Erie will be back in action on Friday, March 20th, for their home opener against Cedarville University.
