PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The Lake Erie women's basketball team hosted the Ursuline College Arrows this afternoon at the Jerome T. Osborne Center for another Great Midwest matchup. Looking for back-to-back wins, the Storm would stumble against the Arrows, and fall 82-61 at home.

Lake Erie was efficient in the first quarter, shooting 46.2% from the field and outpacing the Arrows who shot 33.3%. Despite the efficiency, the Storm would find themselves down 20-17 at the end.
From there, the Arrows found a groove, shooting 51.1% across the next three quarters and putting pressure on the Storm offense to keep up. They would struggle in the second, shooting just 22.2% but picked it up in the second half and shot 45.8%.
Playing from behind most of the second half, the Storm tried to find a way to stop the Arrows but were unable to slow down their hot shooting, ending with a tough loss.
Jaicee Wallace led the team with 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting and
Megan Mares led on the defensive end, grabbing a team-high six rebounds and one block.

Lake Erie will be back on the road to face the Walsh University Cavaliers on Thursday, February 5th at 5 p.m. before returning home.
