Louisville, Kentucky -- The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced the men's lacrosse all-region selections for the 2025 season. The Storm earned two selections with
Nicolas Shankland and
Gavin Conlan each earning honorable mention honors.
Nicolas Shankland - Honorable Mention
Shankland earned his first All-G-MAC nod en-route to an All-Region selection after an impressive defensive season. He finished third in the G-MAC with 27 caused turnovers and third in caused turnovers per game (1.93). He grabbed 41 ground balls and only tuned the ball over nine times on the year. In addition to his defensive performance, he also scored one goal and added one assist on the season.
Gavin Conlan - Honorable Mention
In his first full season as the starting goalkeeper for the Storm, Conlan was fantastic. He allowed just 9.93 goals per game, which is currently the second lowest average among qualifying goalies. He racked up a total of 159 saves while allowing 130 goals while playing 786 minutes in the net.
Conlan also had one of the more impressive seasons in Storm history. His save percentage of .550 set a program record throughout a full season, just edging out Conor Sharkey in 2019 (.547).
