INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced the men's lacrosse all-conference selections for the 2025 season. The Storm earned two selections with Nicholas Shankland earning first team honors and
Gavin Conlan being named to the second team.
Nicholas Shankland - First Team
Shankland earns his first All-G-MAC nod after an impressive defensive season. He finished t-4th in the G-MAC with 25 caused turnovers and second in caused turnovers per game (1.92). He grabbed 38 ground balls and only tuned the ball over six times on the year. In addition to his defensive performance, he also scored one goal and added one assist on the season.
Gavin Conlan - Second Team
In his first full season as the starting goalkeeper for the Storm, Conlan made waves in the Great Midwest. He allowed just 9.84 goals per game, which is currently the second lowest average among qualifying goalies. He racked up a total of 148 saves while allowing 120 goals while playing 731 minutes in the net.
Conlan also had one of the more impressive seasons in Storm history. His current save percentage of .552 currently ranks as the highest in school history throughout a full season, just edging out Conor Sharkey in 2019 (.547).
