PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- The Lake Erie men's soccer team hosted the Walsh Cavaliers for another G-MAC matchup. The game would end in a tie and give the Storm their five tie of the season.

Lake Erie and Walsh would each go down quiet throughout the first half, despite a combined 14 shots from each team. Both sides played a fairly balanced game through the midfield but the match was often interrupted by a large amount of combined fouls (16), and yellow cards (4).
In the second half, the Storm would find the back of the net when
Glory Hser scored in the 66th minute, assisted from
Florian Senf. The Storm would outshoot the Cavaliers in the second half 8-4, but would find no more goals. With the Storm ready to secure their fifth victory of the season, the Cavaliers would find the back of the net with a little over a minute left in the game to secure the 1-1 tie.

Lake Erie will head to the Bluegrass State to go to battle against Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers on Thursday, October 9th at 8:30 p.m.
