FINDLAY, Ohio – The Lake Erie volleyball stayed on the road and went to battle against the Findlay Oilers. The Oilers would take control of the Storm in straight sets.

Set 1: The Oilers would take control early, taking an 8-1 lead. Two kills from Nora Larson would bring the score to 16-5. Findlay would take the set comfortably 25-7. 
 
Set 2: The Oilers continued overpowering early in the set, moving ahead 10-3. The Storm would then take three of the next four points with kills from Larson and Ni'yah Fuggs and a block from Larson and Rori Hanken, bringing the score to 11-6. Findlay would break the set open, growing their lead to 21-10. Four Oilers errors and a kill from Larson would cut the Lake Erie deficit to 22-15. Another kill from Larson and a kill from Sophia McKenzie would be the last two points for the Storm as Findlay would take the set 25-17.  
 
Set 3: After an ace from Dylan Fox, the Oilers would push ahead 9-4. Kills from Fuggs, Larson, and Sadie Nawrocki would bring the score to 15-8. Lake Erie would get two more points in the set on Findlay errors as they Findlay would take the set 25-10.

Looking Ahead
 
Lake Erie returns to the Jerome T. Osborne Center to face off against Hillsdale College on Saturday, November 1st at 5 p.m.  
 
Hillsdale is currently 7-10 overall and 5-3 in G-MAC play this season. Recently, the Chargers took a five-set victory at home against Northwood. In the 2025 preseason poll, Hillsdale was picked to finish 2nd in the G-MAC North division.
