PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- With the 2024 Paris Olympics on the horizon, Lake Erie will have a representative looking to make it to the big stage. Rising junior,
Harry Ross-Hughes is set to compete in the United Kingdom Olympic Trials.
Ross-Hughes will run the men's 800m, his signature event, on Saturday June 29th. If he makes it through, he will then compete on Sunday June 30th in the finals. He met the qualifying standards for the event this year after breaking the 1:49.00 mark.
Throughout his first two years at Lake Erie, Ross-Hughes owns multiple school and Great Midwest (G-MAC) records. He is a three-time All-American, three-time national qualifier and four-time G-MAC champion in the men's 800m.
