Alan de Falchi etched his name into the history books at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. de Falchi would capture the national title in the discus throw with a winning throw of
60.48m! His throw would also become the 8th furthest throw in Division II history.
With this electrifying performance, de Falchi becomes the fifth individual national champion in Storm program history. His historic victory marks the program's second national champion in the last two years with Harry Ross-Hughes securing a national title in the 800m during the 2024-2025 indoor season.
Along with the national title, de Falchi shattered his own school and G-MAC record with a throw of 59.10m. He also earned his second career All-American honor and first at the Division II level, further cementing an incredible collegiate career.
