ERIE, PA — The Lake Erie Storm Men's Lacrosse team traveled for another G-MAC match on Saturday, April 6, as they took on the Mercyhurst University Lakers. The Storm found themselves down 8-5 at the half and would go on to lose 19-10. This brings the Storm record to 5-7 on the year and 4-2 in G-MAC competition.

Jackman Schooley and Billy Coughlin led the way for the Storm with three goals each. Dawson Kindall, Jack Allen, Tim Woods, and Robert Weil each scored one goal each in the contest. Kindall, Gavin, Albright, Coughlin, and Schooley all had one assist each. 

The Storm were able to gain 11 ground balls to the Lakers 38 during the contest. Garrett Brockmeyer went 4-23 on faceoffs, while Joshua Hegbe completed 1-8 in the category. Mitch Kiebala had five saves in the match, allowing eight goals to the Lakers. Noah Beckett had nine saves while allowing 11 goals. 

Lake Erie is back at home in Painesville, Ohio, on Saturday, April 13, as they take on the Tiffin University Dragons. The match begins at 1 PM.
