NASHVILLE, TN – The Lake Erie Storm baseball team were again on the road to take on the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans, for a series on March 16 and 17. Lake Erie would split the series against the talented Trojans, bringing the Storm record to 10-9 on the year and 2-2 in G-MAC play.
GAME ONE
LAKE ERIE - 2
TREVECCA - 7
Lake Erie kept the Trojans at bay until a three run 8th inning would seal the Trojans win. Garrett Esposito went 1-3 with a triple for the only RBI for the Storm. Poltrone went six innings giving up three earned runs while striking out four.

GAME TWO
LAKE ERIE - 5
TREVECCA - 0
Lake Erie would come back strong to even the series against the Trojans. Mitchel Szymczak started things off for the Storm with a homer in the first inning. Szymczak finished 2-4 with two RBIs. Lake Erie poured it on in the 6th adding four runs. Yankovich doubled, Szymczak singled, and Esposito finished it off with a home run. Alex Caudill pitched a complete game going seven innings only allowing three hits with zero earned runs and eight strikeouts.

GAME THREE
LAKE ERIE - 8
TREVECCA- 4
Lake Erie came out strong on their first game of the second double-header. The Storm scored three in the 2nd inning putting them up 3-1. They would again score three in the 8th and ensure a win by tacking on two more runs in the 7th. Jacob Mote went 2-3 with a double and a home run, while Mannuk Cadiz went 2-4 with a homer. Mannuk and Zimba Cadiz each had a stolen base. Robert Helt pitched a complete game with zero earned runs, giving up only three hits, while striking out four. This brings Helt's record to 4-1 on the year.

LAKE ERIE - 0
TREVECCA - 13
Lake Erie rounded out the series going scoreless. Ty Sowers, Graham Solak, and Mitchel Szymczak each had a hit in the game. Solak had a double. Jon Poppy started the game going three innings giving up six earned runs while striking out four. Logan Poole gave up four runs in 0.1 innings pitched.
