High School: Played all four years and lettered twice for the Cardinals... selected as an All-Greater Cleveland Conference Honorable Mention after recording a 0.47 ERA his senior season... sported a 0.97 ERA for his high school career... helped the Cardinals win the district championship his final three seasons along with a regional championship and state finals appearance in 2019... also played lacrosse and participated on the swim team...

Personal: Born on June 6, 2001... is the son of Polly and John Poppy...Polly played lacrosse at Slippery Rock and John played football at Kent State...majoring in sports management with a minor in marketing and coaching.
