INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Lake Erie Baseball traveled to Indiana for a rescheduled series against the #5 UIndy Greyhounds on March 12. Lake Erie would split the series against the #5 team, 1-1. The Storm would squeeze out a win 7-6 in game one and would then lose the second game 9-16. This brings their overall record to 8-7 before starting conference play.
GAME ONE
LAKE ERIE - 7
#5 Uindy - 6
Lake Erie stormed back from down 2-5 to start the sixth inning. Graham Solak and Garrett Esposito each had a double in the game to bring Lake Erie back. Hoskins and Solak each had a stolen base in game one. After tying it up in the sixth, the game would go scoreless until Graham Solak hit a walk off single down the left field line in the ninth giving the Storm the win, 7-6. Solak finished 2 for 3 scoring two runs batted in for the Storm. Brendan Collins came in and gave Lake Erie three innings allowing only one run sparking the Storm comeback. AJ Dallmayer got the win with two final scoreless innings for the Storm, striking out one.

GAME TWO
LAKE ERIE - 9
#5 UIndy - 16
Lake Erie was outgunned by the #5 team, falling 9-16. The Greyhound offense was too much for the Storm giving up seven in the first three innings. Sebastian Silva went 3 for 4 with one RBI, a double, and a triple. Mitchel Szymczak and Cadiz Mannuk (2) each had a stolen base in the contest. Jon Poppy gave up six in two innings pitched. Micah Geise had two RBIs.

Lake Erie continues action with their first conference series against the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans with a pair of double-headers beginning Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16. Game one on Friday begins at 1 PM with game one on Saturday starting at 12 PM.
