PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Lake Erie Storm Men's lacrosse team were in action on a snow-covered afternoon at home on Saturday, March 9, for a non-conference match against the Wilmington University Wildcats. The Storm found themselves down 6-9, and would fall 13-17 after a close back-and-forth game. Bringing their record to 1-4 for the year.
Dawson Kindall and Andrew Cramer led the way for the Storm each scoring four goals each. Kindall had four goals off of nine shots. Cramer had four goals on six shots while also assisting on two goals, ending with six points. Kyle Gardner scored twice off of six total shots. Freshman Robert Weil scored his first career goal in the loss. Sean Gavin had two assists while Will Whitlock had one. Gavin Conlan had six saves.
Lake Erie is back in action at home on Wednesday March 13, as they take on the Wheeling University Cardinals. Face off is 1 PM.
