PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Lake Erie Storm were back at home against the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Saturday, February 24. The Storm would lose 3-13, this brings their record to 0-2 on the season.
At the end of the first half UIndy was in control 0-6. Lake Erie was unable to stop the #8 ranked team in the nation on offense. Despite the score, Gavin Conlan had 17 saves in the game which was five away from tying the Lake Erie record of 22.
Lake Erie had three men score goals in today's matchup. Tim Woods, Dawson Kindall, and Billy Coughlin each had one. Tim Woods' goal was assisted by Zephaniah Scott. While Dawson Kindall had the assist on Coughlin's goal. Giving Kindall a goal and assist on the day.
The Storm are back in action at home next Wednesday, February 28, as they take on the D'Youville University Saints at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium. Face Off is at 1 PM.
