PAINESVILLE, Ohio — The Lake Erie Storm were back at home against the D'Youville University Saints on Wednesday, February 28. The Storm would dismantle the Saints with a final score of 22-7, this brings their record to 1-2 on the season. 

At the end of the first half Lake Erie was up big and in control over the Saints 12-3. Dawson Kindall and Kevin Albright each had three goals in the first half. Kyle Gardner had two goals, while Will Whitlock,  Garrett Brockmeyer, Tim Woods, and Jackman Schooley all ended with one goal each. Albright and Woods each had an assist in the first half of play. 

Lake Erie tacked on four more goals to lead 16-4. Billy Coughlin, Andrew Cramer (2), and Tim Woods all scored in the third quarter. 

Kindall then scored again to open the fourth quarter giving him four total goals on the day. Sean Gavin scored his first goal of the game in the fourth quarter. Schooley scored his second of the game with 8:32 left. Nicholas Mahoney added two goals in the fourth quarter. Zephaniah Scott added to the dismantling with a goal at 7:00 minutes. 

Kindall was the leader in goals with four , and the leader in assists with three for the contest. Albright added three goals. Mahoney,Woods, and Cramer all finished with two.

The Storm are on their first road trip of the year when they head to Michigan to take on the Davenport University Panthers on Saturday, March 2. Face off is at 12 PM.
