FINDLAY, Ohio — The Lake Erie college Storm were on the road for a G-MAC contest on Thursday, January 4, against the University of Findlay Oilers. The Storm handled the Oilers with ease, with a final score of 80-67. Bringing the Storm's overall record to 4-9 and 2-3 in conference play.

The Storm led at the half 49-31. Jacob Plantz led the way with 19 points off of 4-5 from three at the half. The Storm shot 55% from the floor and 61% from three in the first half. 

Lake Erie finished at 43% from the floor and a solid 50% from behind the arch. Backed by 23 points from Plantz, he finished 7-14 with four made three pointers. Jonny Manning added a double-double with 10 points and a team high 13 boards. Jake Leibacher finished with 15 points and seven rebounds. 

Lake Erie is back at home this Saturday, January 6, as they take on the Walsh University Cavaliers. Tip off is at 1 PM.
