COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Lake Erie men's soccer team travled to Columbus today for a neutral site matchup against the UIndy Greyhounds. The Storm were not able to hang with UIndy and fell 3-1 in the contest for their second consecutive loss.

The #4 Storm, still feeling the sting from their season opening loss to #23 Notre Dame College, came out flat to start their contest against the Greyhounds. They surrendered their first goal of the game in just the 2nd minute of play.

In the 19th minute, Lake Erie evened things out with a goal of their own, scored by Maximilian Lintschinger and assisted by Tom Akinola and Randolf Rothe.

UIndy took the lead back in the 34th minute and exteded their lead quickly into the 2nd period during the 46th minute.

Lintschinger accounted for the Storm's only two shots on goal and three of their seven shots in the contest while Mathi Ott and Elias price contributed the remaining four.

Lake Erie will be back in action on September 6th for their home opener against the Seton Hill Griffins at 7 PM before hitting the road for their first G-MAC contest of the season on September 13 at Northwood.
