FINDLAY, Ohio — The Lake Erie women's volleyball team played in their third straight road game against the Findlay Oilers for another G-MAC conference match. The Storm dropped three sets to the Oilers, moving their conference record to 0-3 and a 1-10 overall record.
The set scores finished at 25-15, 25-21, and 25-12. The Storm fought in the second set to a 20-22 deficit, yet the Oilers were able to secure each set.
Senior Schylar Shepherd and senior Katelyn McMoore led the Storm in kills with five each. Senior captain Simone Schurr finished with 14 assists, and junior Brooklyn Broadway picked up 13 digs to add to her 396 career digs overall.
The Storm will host the Walsh Cavaliers for their first home game of the season on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00 PM.
