HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Lake Erie women's volleyball team traveled to Hillsdale College to continue their road game play on September 16th. The Storm were unable to take a set from the Chargers, dropping the match in three with scores of 25-19, 25-15, and 25-17. The Storm now have an 0-2 conference record and are 1-9 overall.
Senior captain Dora Olah led Lake Erie in offense, with nine kills. Senior Alexandra Matthews was right behind with five kills, and senior Katelyn McMoore finished with four. Junior captain Simone Schurr finished the match with 14 assists. Junior Brooklyn Broadway picked up 12 digs. Offense and defense from the Storm were matched by Hillsdale. Despite multiple ties throguout the match, the Storm struggled to pull ahead.
The Storm head to Findlay to take on the Oilers for another G-MAC match on Sunday, September 17th at 1:00 PM.
