ROCKVILLE CENTRE, New York -- The Lake Erie women's lacrosse team was back in action on the road, facing the Molloy University Lions. The Storm could not hold off the Lions in this mid-day match, as they fell 17-2. This brings their record to 1-2 overall.
Sophomore Erin Synder and freshman
Madelyn Goodrich were the solo scorers for the Storm on the day. Sydner found the back of the net from junior
Cassidy Bourne in the third period, and Goodrich was able to score late, unassisted, in the fourth. Bourne also had three shots on goal during the match.
Freshman
Ainsley Sutter was in the goal for the Storm, securing eight saves for the day.
The Storm are on the road again for their next match against the Felician Golden Falcons on Tuesday, March 7th at 1:30 PM.
