FINDLAY, Ohio — The Lake Erie women's lacrosse team traveled to Findlay University to take on the Oilers for their second conference game of the season. The game was quickly taken over by Findlay, as the Storm was only able to score three for the day. The final score of 22-3 moves the Storm to a 0-2 conference record and 3-5 overall.
The leaders on the day were sophomore Allie Smith with a goal and three shots, junior Emma Rhoades with a goal and two shots, and junior Cassidy Bourne with a goal and two shots. Junior Sydney Jekutis picked up five ground balls for the Storm.
Freshman Ainsley Sutter was in the goal for the first half, recording three saves. Freshman Avery Artino took over the net for the second half, also recording three saves.
Lake Erie looks to get back in the win column on Friday, March 31st as they host the Walsh Cavaliers for a conference night game at 6:30 PM.
