INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lake Erie College Storm men's lacrosse team opened up their season today February 4 on the road against the #8 University of Indianapolis Greyhounds. They would fall in the contest 21-10.
Lake Erie would find themselves on the board first with an unassisted goal by Connor Dent. Both teams would then continue to trade goals with the Storm holding a 3-2 after the first period.
The Greyhounds would then take control of the game and jump out to a 9-5 lead by the conclusion of the second half and finish the game with a 21-10 final.
Dent, Brandon Luthart, Kevin Albright, and Landon Taylor would each score two goals in the contest. Freshman Noah Beckett would start his first collegiate game in the net, surrendering 17 goals and saving an impressive 16 shots in 45 minutes of play.
The loss takes the Storm to 0-1 to start the season. They will be back in action on Saturday February 11 on the road against Lewis University at 2:00 PM.
