HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team continued their road trip today, February 11 by visiting the #15 Hillsdale University Chargers. The Chargers' would bounce back after falling to the Storm earlier in the season and take home the victory, 79-64.
The Storm would keep pace with Hillsdale for the most part in the first half and go into the locker with just a five point deficit but Hillsdale would erupt in the second half for 46 points and Lake Erie found themselves down double digits most of the half.
Lake Erie would be outshout 46.2% to 56.3% from the field and 33.3% to 60% from deep. The Chargers would also control the paint as they managed to grab 32 rebounds compared to the Storm's 18.
Jordan Burge would lead the team with 15 points on 6-10 shooting in 24 minutes played.
The Storm will be back in action on Thursday, February 16 at Ohio Dominican for their last road game of the season before returning home to face Tiffin on Saturday, February 18 at 3 PM.
