CRESTVIEW HILLS, Kentucky — The Lake Erie College Storm 2023 football season concluded today Saturday, November 11, as they fell to the Thomas More University Saints in the final conference matchup of the season with a final score of 6-44. Their end of the season record is 1-10 and 0-9 in conference play.
The Storm were without a handful of their key players due to suspensions from the previous matchup.
The Storm struggled to get any sort of momentum going on the offensive side of the ball.
Kevin Costa led the offensive strike for the Storm today with
Xeavier Bullock out with an injury. He finished the day going 15 of 35 for 146 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Costa finished with a 42.9 passing percentage and also added 18 yards on the ground.
Keed Kpoto led the way on the ground with a team high 14 attempts. Kpoto finished with 55 yards.
Tyrone Williams Jr. finished with 32 yards on a team high 5.3 yards per carry average. Through the air,
Tony Edwards had a team high of 38 yards off of two catches.
Maliek Carter had the lone score for the Storm on a nine yard touchdown catch and grab. He finished with three catches for 19 yards and a touchdown.
On the defensive end
Euvoski Cunningham led the way for the Storm with a game high eight tackles, all of which being solo. Cameren Webb ended the contest with six tackles and an assisted tackle for loss.
Lucas Fonseca also added in five total tackles and one tackle for loss in today's loss.
Ginial Isma finished the contest with four total tackles all of which were solo.
