NORTH EAST, Pennsylvania -- The Lake Erie men's and women's golf teams competed in the Mercyhurst Invitational this past weekend at the Lake View Country Club. The men would placed 8th out of 16 teams on the weekend.
The top finisher for the Storm men was
Logan Cook who finished t-5th and shot a 146 (73/73) across two rounds.
Antonio Bodziony finished closely behind him with a 148 (74-74) followed by
Ryan Chipps (158, 80-78),
Jacob Fitzpatrick (161, 78-83), and
Tyler Schwenk (186, 97-89).
On the women's side,
Tayler Wilber finished with a 231 (123-108).
Hope Manning, withdrew from round one but competed in round two and finished with a 91.
This concludes the fall season for the men while the women will compete one more time at the Davenport Invitational from October 13th-15th at the Stonehedge North Golf Course in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
