Storm Bounce Back and Take Down Wheeling Jesuit

Box Score

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Lake Erie College Storm men's lacrosse team took down the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals on April 9, in Wheeling, West Virginia, 11-6.

The Storm, coming off a disappointing loss to Seton Hill last week, were looking to get back on track on the road against the Cardinals and did so in part to the spectacular play by goalie Lincoln Potter

Potter recorded 20 saves on the day and allowed only six for a save percentage of 76.9 percent.

After a slow start, where they remained tied 2-2 at the end of the first quarter, the Storm would bounce back and score six goals in the second including two from Connor Dent.

Lake Erie would get shut out in the third but bounce back in the fourth to shut down Wheeling Jesuit and capture the win, 11-6.

On the day, Dent would have four goals and add one assist, with Blain Wallace and Dawson Kindall each adding two goals.

The win improves the Storm's record to 4-5 on the season. Lake Erie will be back in action, Tues. April 12 at home to face Walsh at 7:00 PM.
