Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College Storm men's lacrosse team took down the Alderson Broaddus Battlers on April 23, in Painesville, Ohio, 22-5.
The Storm, holding onto a two-game win streak, faced their third straight conference opponent in today's game. Alderson Broaddus came into today with a record of 1-8 (0-4 G-MAC) while Lake Erie held a record of 5-6 (2-2 G-MAC).
The Storm got off to a hot start in the contest and stayed consistent throughout the match, scoring five goals in each of the first three quarters in addition to seven in the fourth quarter.
Nick Askin would lead Lake Erie with five goals on the day, with Dawson Kindall and Blain Wallace with three goals and two assists.
Mike Flury would dominate on faceoffs, winning 29 and losing just two. He would also lead the team with 17 groundballs.
The win improves the Storm's record to 6-6 on the season and 3-2 in conference play. Lake Erie will be back in action, Saturday. April 30 at home to face Davis & Elkins at 3:00 PM for senior day.
